The contents page used the box style picture set up, with various different images rather than one large on one half of the page. The use of a black box with yellow writing makes the word ‘contents’ stand out, so the reader can visibly see that it is the contents page. This them is also carried on throughout the whole content page with headings, for example ‘famous last words’. The largest image on the page signifies to the reader that that is the main article of the magazine. At the top you can find the editors note, which is typical of a mainstream, popular magazine. It also lets the reader relate to the magazine more as it makes it more personal.
